nestled in the town center of Norton Commons
among boutiques, eateries, and even a specialty cupcake shop, you will find . . .

the UNCOMMON ART SHOP
~
as the name sugge
sts, there is nothing common about this gallery or owner Ann Cross - what an intriguing and vibrant woman! i had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with her touring the neighborhood via golf-cart, the preferred means of travel in this community, as well as a tour of Ann's own home and private collection of artwork which includes a fascinating marble collection.
in it's final stages of completion, the gallery plans to open it's doors mid-September. the high contrast between the dark stained concrete floors andthe brilliant white lofty walls suggests sophistication and serious art viewing; but, Ann hopes to create a casual viewing environment by providing a beverage bar and furniture in the back for lingering and mingling!
